my cdrom is connected to my soundblaster16 sound card my windows operating system is win 95. the trouble i'm having is getting my cdrom drive to work, i keep getting a scsi error message " an exception oe has occurred at 0028: c1046dad in vxd scsi port (01) + 00007dd. this wascalled from 0028:c1159604 in vxd scsi1hlp (03) + 00000678. i accidently deleted the cdrom in device manager , how do i get windows to detect it again i've tried removing the sony prorietary controller and the cdrom in safe mode but only the sony proprietary cdrom controller is detected when i reboot. the cdrom does not show up in device manager. someone please help? am i having a configuration problem or driver problem? what driver do i need? how do i configure my config.sys to detect it?
