HI,
I have been on the phone with computer people for what seems like most of the last two weeks. Cox Cable told me it was a problem with microsoft. The mocrosoft people were great, but it had only fixed the problem for most of the time.
I was using one computer and thought that maybe it was just the computer. SO, I loaded the Cox software on our other computer. When I downloaded the Cox security software, I started getting error messages. Perhaps it has something to do with their security software? These are the ones I've gotten:
Ypager has caused a problem
Authsl caused an error in MSVBVM60.DLL
Kernel32.DLL has caused an error - Actually I think that one says that Iexplore ahs caused an error in kernel32.dll
I haven't loaded Ad-aware onto this computer. Maybe that would help, but isn't that what Cox's security software is supposed to do?
Also, my computer is "freezing" while I'm on the internet. It happens when I click to go elsewhere. Half the screen will disappear, like it's going to change and then it gets frozen and I have to restart the computer. Very annoying. It's getting to the point where it's not worth it to be paying for the access. I am losing a lot of work time.
Thanks again!
