On 9/14/05 I became the proud papa of a beautiful 6lb 5oz baby girl. She was 19 1/4" long and has feet like her daddy (4" long). Anyway I'm just overwhelmed with happiness and had to share the news. Here's a few pics.

Gratz Bigstu.
Bringing a child into this world is quite an event. Now get ready for 20 years of hard work. Quoted that one from my dad. :D

Congrats Bigstu? You had the fun part. Congrats to your wife. Oh, yeah, you may have had to put up with some mean looks from your wife at times.:michaelan
Pretty little lady.;)
It's tough afterwards when it gets so tiresome pushing the wife out of bed and saying, "Honey, the baby is crying."
Remember: Insanity is hereditary......You get it from your children.:rotflmao:
Been there 4 times and now my 4 grandchildren are putting me over the edge.:(
It's all good!!!!

Congrats. I have 2 of them ( now aged 11 & 13 ) and wouldn't change them for the world. Daughters are very special and I don't get into any argument with mothers who say say about boys being easier to manage than girls; I don't know about that but I do know that any baby has it's good and bad times for you. The scares when they choke and the warmth of their first smiles go hand in hand.
Be a proud Dad, all kids deserve at least that

Oh, and one last thing; treasure every moment with her because it seems just like yesterday that the wife and I stood in center of the supermarket with 2 screaming baby girls and were so drained of sleep we just stood looking at each other and an old lady prodded us with her walking stick to wake us up and move us out of her way. It is just a snap of the fingers it seems from that time to now and me now taking them to their first disco to be left alone ( they think ) and I really don't know where the time went :dizzy:
