View Full Version : Installing Windows 95 with no CD Drive?

I just got an old IBM 486 and want to put windows 95 on it, but the computer has no CD-ROM drive. I'm not even sure I could put one in it. Right now it has Windows 3.1 on PC DOS 7.01. Thanks =)

Howdy and welcome to CTH:

Win95 came on floppies as well but they are as scarce as hen's teeth..

I suggest taking a look in EBay and seeing if it is available in there..
