Port Number

How do I find the port number I am using to be connected to the internet?

Hi Trep21

If it's a dialup modem click Start / Settings / Control Panel.
Double click the Modem icon to open the Modem Properties window.
Under the General tab high-light your modem listed
and click Properties. Should be listed under the General tab.

hi

run dos in a window

from the Dosprompt in that window
netstat -a

for more options
netstat /?
for curiosity
netstat -a -p

Thanks a lot for telling me about netstat -a. But the problem is that it is showing several different Local Addresses. Can u please explain me a bit more of it? Thanks a lot
