I want to compose some text, and save it for printing onto a T-shirt.

I am currently using Win XP Home, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Paint.

The final file has to be in PNG format, at minimum 200 DPI and 2000 x 2000 pixel resolution. Size of ultimate image will be no larger than 10" x 10". Just letters, no pictures.

Problem: currently, I am getting really pixelated edges to the letters. I need nice crisp edges at this size. Any ideas?

I also happen to have Adobe Photoshop Deluxe 4.O, but I don't know how to use it.

Have you tried printing it out on paper? It's possible the pixilation is a function of the monitor display and won't be obvious...or appear at all...in the printout.

A note...in case you haven't already figured this out. (I messed up a T-shirt before I saw my mistake.) Don't forget to "flip," or invert, the finished product before printing it on transfer paper. Backward images are one thing but backward text sure is hard to read. ;)

If you're using Word's Word Art or are pasting an image from Paint into a Word document, enable the Drawing toolbar and on its Draw menu is the option to flip.

Thanks. I am trying to create an image according to the requirements of the Cafe Press website.
