Hi. I've previously used Trust Setter (http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/programs.asp?Program=Trust%20Setter) on Windows 2000 without a hitch. I really like it and really want it. I'm having a problem installing it on Windows XP Home Edition (SP2), though. I am getting a runtime error - see attachment. I'm getting the same error on trying to install Copy to/Move to Extensions (http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/programs.asp?Program=Copy/Move%20To%20Extensions)

I downloaded what I thought I might need, the MS Windows Script 5.6 which is here (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp) No help there.

I've tried to find the solution by searching around with no success whatsoever. On this machine, I have only IE6 and also, MSN Explorer is on it, if that might make a difference. And Office 2003. And Outlook Express.

Can anyone help? Or, if you know of similar programs, I'd like to know about them. These two I sort of prized.

Thank you!

Hi Harrie, are you logged in with admin permissions when you try to install it?

As far as I know, AnnMarie, yes. I'm logged in as Harrie - computer administrator. But here's what it says in Belarc Advisor:

It's possible that there is a conflict with other software that you have installed. I checked out the forums at Jason's Toolbox but I couldnt find an fix for the problem. A couple of others have had the same problem but there was no resolution posted.

I did find a couple of programs that you might like to try instead though. Check out Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5 Power Tweaks Web Accessories (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/previous/webaccess/pwrtwks.mspx). Once installed, it allows you to set sites as trusted or restricted from IE's Tools Menu. I installed it on my IE6 SP2 and it works just fine. SendTo 1.6 (http://www.trogsoft.net/products/sendto/view.php?id=15&PHPSESSID=83b89b8f523f00b70c4546bb9c50cf55) allows you to move or copy files anywhere (I didnt try this proggie though).

Many, many thanks, AnnMarie! I mean it! I've installed the first program and as you said, seems great. Option is right there for me now. This is great, thank you.

I may try the SendTo program and will let you know how that turns out.

Thanks again!
