Hello,

I may have a disaster on my hands. I was deleting files with the internet tools menu when I got the blue screen and the physical memory dump message. I turned the computer off and restarted. Now I am getting the disc read error during the boot process followed by "press the control alt delete to restart". I do not have the emeregency boot discs or the original installation cd. How do i get this machine up and running without losing my data or applications.

Thanks for your help.

Hi jts7979 welcome to cyberTechHelp.

I was deleting files...blue screen...physical memory dump...disc read error...I do not have...the original installation cd
I'm afraid your going to have to take the computer into a shop for repair.

The rule is, "If you don't know exactly everything that file (or folder) does...your not allowed to delete it".

You've deleted some important Windows operating files and the CD is needed to repair the computer.
Windows most likely needs to be totally reinstalled.
