OEM software

I'm running on win 95 oem software trying to upgrade to 98, I keep getting stuck at 46% (setup interrupted - file user.exe) no matter what I do I can't move past this point. Can this be because OEM software cannot be upgraded? I've been trying this for ... oh geez I don't know how long... any help will be appreciated...

Hi Monkey,

OEM is Original equipment manufacture and that shouldn't stop you from upgrading.

Are you using the Windows 98 upgrade?

thanks it was the upgrade, finally got it to work by plugging and unplugging the cd rom, must've been a bad connection, thanks
