Picture This...

A photo has three folks in it, the one in the middle just has his head showing. I'm looking to try and remove that head so's there'd be just the two folks showing...so basically what I'm trying to do is edit out a "semi-circle" along the top of a picture....Any clues as to how this can be done? I have Irfanview and PSP. :)

Could you draw a circle over the face that you don't want and then fill it with the background colour?

Alternatively could you copy the two you do want and paste them into a new picture?

The clone tool in psp is probably your best bet. Fill the head with some of the nearby background. Irfan doesn't have any tools to do that kind of work. Make a selection first to exclude any areas you don't want the clone tool to overlap into.

Okay, I'll see if I can figure out how to use the clone tool, but ya know what I'm like with image programs. :)
