Need Help with Javascript!

I went to my e-mail icon on my toolbar and it went directly to m emails, then within a few seconds it atomatically switched pages and started talking about Javascript. Not knowing what javascript was, I said "no" and it completely changed my entire email format. Plus whenever I go to a website it says I need javascript. My question is 1. What is Javascript? and 2. How do i get it? I have no clue what kind of javascript I need. Please help me and email me at chelz_blu92@sbcglobal.net. Thanks!

You may want to remove your email address as "bots" can scan forums to havest email addresses for spam.

You didn't say what software you were using, such as Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Mozilla?

All use Javascript, but MS software is pretty high on usage.

Javascript is a client side language, meaning it is run on the users computer and the user can disable it.

You need to give more info on what you were doing/using and what you did.
