When my harddrive crashed because of a virus sometime back, I immediately went out and invested in Norton Ghost and a back-up external harddrive.
For some reason, when Norton Ghost went into DOS, it failed to recognize the external harddrive. I did some research on it, and learned that this was because of USB connections not being recognized in DOS. Any explanation here?
Nevertheless, I went ahead and purchased a secondary internal harddrive. I'm STILL having the SAME PROBLEM. When I begin Norton Ghost, it's takes me through the set-up for a Clone, allowing me to pick the host and the clone, but when it kicks into DOS, it fails to recognize the Secondary Harddrive.
I've talked with some other users of Ghost about this problem, and generally get shrugs and "It works for me." Moreover, I've looked into my Ghost manuals on Troubleshooting. I'm not finding any answers.
Suggestions?
