You need the Office2000 cd in order to un-install or repair..

Pop the cd into your cd-rom drive.. It should auto-start.. The menu shaould give you the option to install, un-install or repair..

Because copied cd's won't auto-start and may have corrupted files due to copywrite features!!!

Do you still have the original Key Code for your Office cd??

Then, as long as you use you original LEGAL key code, you could use any retail Office cd to do the repair or uninstall/re-install!!

If you tried to uninstall and you got errors, go to Microsoft and do a search in the KBase for how to manually uninstall Office 2000. It's a lot of steps that I don't know by heart. But once you get it cleaned out and then reinstalled, you have to put the CD in to let it finish configuring. Then it own't ask you again.
