I have just installed and ran Norton's PartitionMagic to resize my laptop's (VAIO R505TL) partitions. I simply changed the size of the original two partitions on the disk. After this operation I have been encountering problems during boot-up. When I start the computer, most times all I get is a blank screen. I have to shut down and restart about 3-4 times before the computer boots-up normally. I have ran CHKDSK /F and /R, FDISK /MBR, but the problem persists. Sometimes it starts right away, but most times it hangs. I have XP Home OS (SP1). No other third party disk managing utilities. Any suggestions????
