Outlook catastrophy ! ! Can this be fixed ? ?

I really hope that someone can help.
This is weird. As I was using Outlook. My appointments started disappearing.

I have reoccurring appointments with no end date set for time slots throughout the day. Like 12 of them starting at 7am. I just leave them blank and type in the person's name into that occurrence if I schedule for that time.

Here's what happened. I was in my calendar, looking at my appointment time slots for tomorrow. They were all there and only 4 had anything typed into them. I go into my mail folders to send a message. I click back to my calendar and half of the time slots are gone. So I start clicking the next few days and they are gone from them too, like the reoccurrence has been deleted. As I click back to tomorrow, more of them are gone. I start clicking around to dates in the future and in the past and all of my time slots except for one have been deleted. Any past appointments and future appointments in those time slots are deleted.

So now I have one of the original 12 reoccurring appointments left.
Is everything else lost forever? Can this be recovered in anyway?
Have I been hacked?
