Let's say that an appointment in Outlook 2000 was deleted. A reoccurring apmt. Where does that data go and can it be recovered?
Something really weird happend in Outlook and all of my reoccurring apmts. disapeared. These went back a year or more and had no end date in the future. I tried to restore from the pst. file and get nothing.
When restoring, I chose to restore from Archive/calendar to personal folders/ calendar, it shows that it is importing the data, it takes like 10 minutes, when it's done, I go and check the calendar and nothing has changed. None of the lost appointments are back.
Please help.
Thanks
Ian

Update:
I can see my appoinments for today and the next 4 days in Outlook Today but not in my calendar. All time slots are there and the ones that I had names entered in are there as well. When I click on calendar that info is not there. When I click on a time, it does not open the reoccurring appointment for that time that is in Outlook Today.
Something else weird happened. While in my calendar, a reminder popped up for a reoccurring aptment that I couldn't see, I clicked dismiss and that apointment showed back up on the calendar. All the way back 2 years with all the data in them and open all the way into the future. I did a few other thigns in Outlook, came back to my calendar and that appointment was gone again.
Please help. This is having a serious impact on our business.

See if anything in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article, How to troubleshoot missing and duplicate appointments in Outlook (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;890436), is any help.

Thanks for the reply and the info. I haven't found anyhting in those docusments that speaks to what I have going on.
Recovering deleted non mail items is close. I'm not convinced that these claendar items have been deleted.
I'm receiving reminders for these reoccurring appointments and I can see them in the Outlook today view. So it seems that the data is there somewhere but is not being communicated to my calendar.
Could a registry error cause this? In the last couple of days. I did adjust my clock back 1 year to open a trial program and then adjust it back again right after.
Anything else that you can add would be aprreciated.
