Quick Time

I have unchecked Quick Time in msconfig but it keeps loading at start up. How do I stop this to save resourses?

Open Quick Time Player, click on Edit, point the cursor at Preferences then click on Quick Time preferences. In the drop-down list, select "Update Check." Then uncheck the box for "Check for updates automatically," close the preferences box and close Quick Time. That should stop the updater from loading on startup.
