I am trying to use a digital video camera to be able to do live video over AOL AIM. I connect the camera, and go through the setup--I am able to see the live video during the setup, but when I connect with another person, it says it "cannot find my camera." The other person can see me, I can see them, and they can hear me, but it says it can't find the camera. I am wondering if it has something to do with the resolution that AIM can support. I haven't read anywhere that it wouldn't accept it.
I have the digital video camera connected via fire wire to my computer. I also tried to connect it via USB, that worked for a few minutes, but after I restarted AIM, it never worked again.
It is a strange problem, I have downloaded the most recent update, and that didn't seem to make any difference.
