Re-install Mandrake but is on multi-boot

hello all,

I want to install mandrake 10.1 but wanna do it clean (as in remove the current install as it is fluded with error which is stopping me from configuring it) but dunno how as I have windows xp on multi-boot and don't want lose anything on the XP (50 Gig worth of movies and music and nowhere to backup)

the linux O/S install is on a partion

and the multi-boot is LiLo

If you already have mandrake installed, and want to do a clean install, simply go through the install process and make sure that you select to have the mandrake parition formatted. That will ensure all data on it is erased, while preserving your windows partition.
