Like Night and Day!

Geeeez......I got a new pair of glasses today, after procrastinating on bringing the prescription in since January, haha!! I've had really great vision most of my life, but it's been going downhill for the last 5 years. Anyway, I did have one pair before, but could never, ever get used to these things....when I'd wear them, I'd feel like I was all spaced out, almost a druggy type feeling, and I'd have to take them right off. So I wasn't hoping for much with these, but.........wow!! I can see great and feel fine, too! Geeez....this anchorwoman's eyebrows, I'd never noticed how they stand out before, LOL! Hope someone real ugly doesn't come along....whoops, there's always the mirrors, ROTF! Nawwww....I'm just okay, not great, not terrible, BUT!! I did notice today when I got home, after hubby had been telling me the glasses look good on me, that when I looked in the mirror I didn't really think so........and then the reason why hit me, I could see my wrinkles much more clearly!

Gah!! Ramble city, eh.....well....errrr, I'd say sorry but I'm not, so I won't!

***slinks off in embarrassment****

Talking

Wrinkles? Harrie, my dear, you have no wrinkles. You have love lines, laugh lines, character lines, life lines, but you have no wrinkles. Only pug dogs and dirty old men have wrinkles.

Yep, it sure does help to see, and now, after reading your post, tweakthis, why I feel just fine! LOL, I love it! Character lines, that's it!

Glasses? I wish I knew what life was like without them. I have been a 4eyed freek since i was 18 months old. So I dont know what it is like not to wear these stupid things, but trust me, YOu will never get use to them and actually like the things....

Oh as for the reason you felt so bad before when you wore glasses, could be that the Prescription was wrong. I've had that feeling many times.......

18 months old!! Wow, Dodge, I think that might be kind of unusual! One day they should have surgery to give everybody perfect vision, that's what I say!

Uhhh....Bill, what may I do for you? Anything at all, anything! Hahaha!! Sheesh, I just love this internet and the people on it, I do!! How come they don't have more movies about the internet???

Harrie Harrie oh Harrie, Bills only after ya cookies!!!

Dodge, I started wearing glasses 4 years ago, I did not like the idea. The reason why, well I had to re-new my drivers licence, did the eye test for that, and couldn't read all the letters. The girl said that maybe I had a "lazy" eye that caused this, thankfully I was issued with a licence.

Later on, I found that if I closed my right eye, everything through the left eye was blurry. Then after that, I started to get wicked headaches!!

I went for an eye test, sure enough, it meant my having to wear glasses! Once I'd got them, the headaches went away almost like magic!!!

Now I'm into my second prescription (sp) set of goggles, and they are bi-focals, I can't read small print at all!!

Dave.
