please - help me with : PANTHER and G3 firmware

My blue G3 iMac is 10.2.8 0S
I am trying to upgrade it from the dics PANTHER 10.3 - to do this my compurer is asking for G3 Firmware,so I got this from Apple and when I am trying to install it - i get this message: this softwear is for G3 and will not run on this computer

ANYONE CAOULD HELP ME???

Are you running the firmware update from the Classic OS? What firmware version is it?

in order run os 10 or panter you must update your firmware to 4.1.9
