active undelete problems !!!

:wave: hi to all!
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem?
I accidentally deleted about 100 mpeg and jpeg files from my pc!
I used active@undelete to bring the files back from the dead, and it worked!
However, only half the mpeg movies now work, the others just dont play anymore:embarrass if anyone is familiar with the program, and can see what I have or am doing wrong, i would appreciate dearly!

Them's the breaks when you delete something and try to recover them, there is a chance the files won't be able to be recovered, and if they are recovered, they may be corrupt or incomplete. This is nothing you or the program is doing wrong, that's just the way it is. Be more careful next time :)

thanks oracle..sometimes my fingers work faster than my bwain...i might see my buddy , he says he got a program called nortons something or other, see if that works...ciao mickey

I had a similar problem, I stuffed around for a day or so trying to get my files back and realised I was only making it worse. I bit the bullet and bought DataRecoveryWizard (http://www.easeus.com) that did the trick. It worked. Recovered almost everything.

cannot make my recovery disc 1, run THE APPLICATIONS ONE DOES,IT SEEMS THAT IT WON'T READ IT,BUT IT HAS WORKED BEFORE,RECENTLY HAD VIRUS!!
