Computer Shutsdown at Startup
Hey people.

I dual boot slackware linux and winxp pro.

Recenttl i had a problem. When i boot the computer, nothing happens. The power is on but the screen is blank. Yes, the monitor is plugged in. This is when preforming a cold boot. When i preform a warm boot (i.e. pressing restart when nothing happens) i get the first screen (showing some bios info) and then it just shuts off. POST doesnt even get initated.

Anyone got any suggestions?

try booting in safe mode, if this fails might be a sasser worm.
