cloning my hard drive

I have used approx 10GB of my 20GB hard drive. I plan to purchase a larger drive and install it as a second drive (configured as a slave). Can I use Norton Ghost to copy all files to my new larger drive and then reconfigure my drives to make the larger drive as the boot or primary drive?

Welcome

Yes, Norton Ghost will automatically create the new partition on the new drive for you.

Thanks, but will I be able to use this cloned drive as my primary drive. Is there any issue with Microsoft regarding WinXP on this drive.

The clone will copy everything including the MBR.

Once the clone is copied to the new disk then set it to primary any you will be able to boot into it just as before, but with a bigger drive.
