how do i rename a file in ftp thingy for mac?

To rename a file just click the file name and either wait, or hit return, then retype the name you want.

yup the program is called FTP Thingy and no it didnt work :(

Sorry I'm not familiar with that application. You might try it's support center.

I downloaded it and tried it. it's EXTREMELY limited and does not appear to allow file renaming on the server. You must download, rename, then upload a file if you wish to change it's name.

Horribly limited ftp client.

You realize that with Mac OS10 all you need do to FTP to a server is hit Command-k and type the address. That will open the server just like any other finder window.

but how do i get "sufficient priveliges"? i want to put my username and password so i can add, remove, edit, etc...
