Question help

Need your expertise....I have two problems one dealing with the fact that a lot of pages I try to open are not available...for instance i click on a page or link I would like to open and it says opening page....then nothing ever comes out...also...i am getting an error that says something about insuring that my web browser is set to default web browser....etc...please help out...thanks...from a college student

Hi TiNkZzZz - welcome to CTH. You dont say what browser you are using so for now I'll assume its Internet Explorer. Lets make sure that IE is set as your default browser first then see if you still have a problem

Start Internet Explorer. (You don't have to be connected) and on the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Click on the Programs tab.

Place a check in the box next to "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser" if it isn't already selected. Click OK and close Internet Explorer.

Start Internet Explorer again. If you get a message asking if you want to set Internet Explorer as the default, click Yes.

Post back and let us know if you still have a problem browsing.

Also, if you have recently installed a pop-up management program, that can prevent certain pages from loading.
