WindowsMedia Player Problem

Hi!
My operating system is Windows 98 SE. I recently installed Windows Media Player 9 on my system. The problem is that whenever I play a video CD the picture keeps skipping and stopping as if the CD is defective. but the same CD plays on another system with the same OS and same version of WM player. I tried other CD's also which had the same problem. The audio also is very slow while playing a VCD. There is no problem while playing an audio CD or even when playing music stored on the Hard Disk. Please help me solve this problem
Pran.

Try www,freecodec.com and download the codec pack for your system. Might want to get gspot while you are there. Good luck!
