For all webcelerator users..
Lately I was having problems with my internet not staying logged on to message boards. I knew it had to do with cookies or something of that nature...
Mind you, it was so bad that I couldn't make a post in either this site or my own! So I got offline. and went into the webcelerator settings and found that the setting for the amount of mb your cookies take was about 50mb! I must have been desperate and wanted webcelerator to save the stuff and hopefully I thought it would be easier access to the cach file there than the one used for my computer! WRONG! It only took over the cookie thing and I ended up having no more space for the cookies on my computer. Remember, without cookies, you wouldn't stay logged onto message boards! So I flushed it and disabled it when I went to sites I didn't want it to pick up. Especially if it was a site I didn't know or something. Now, I only keep it so it will disable my computer from picking up the advertisements found on websites. And I have my pop-up killer all set! (It's funny how even though it is disabled, it still manages to keep the ads from loading!) I made this post not only to show off that I solved my own problem , but that I am sorry b/c i have been recommending it to people and it turns out it kills your computer in the end!My comp was running so slow, web pages took 4 MINUTES to load! AMAZING! I learned my lesson, it's time to learn yours... |
