Hey,
I'm on a laptop, xp installed, with a switch, cogeco cable internet. This started happening recently that whenever we shutdown or move to a different place (and plug in with a dif cable), that we have to wait 15-20 min before we are able to load anything on the internet.
There is no firewall, although we have ALOT of popups which may just be slowing everything down perhaps. I've used EVERY popup and spyware/adware removal out there and nothing works, so if this is the case, we'll have to live with it i guess. But if anyone has ideas besides of that, it would be greatly appreciated!!
(Its not the switch because my dads mac has no problem, and i dont think its explorer because other things like msn also wont work at first).
