Trouble deleting file

I'm trying to delete this video file on my external hardrive but everytime I delete it it always says,

"Cannot delete file, the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable".

How should I go about deleting it? Thanks

Is there anything else running that this file could be associated with? Is this the only item in the file folder? I'd say try and delete the folder with that file in it.

I tried deleting it inside the folder, but it won't still be deleted.

Try killbox
http://www.cybertechhelp.com/downloa...pocket-killbox

use the delete on reboot option.

If that doesn't work do a chkdsk on the drive.

This worked for me. I had a partially downloaded exe that would not delete. I tried everything I knew of to try and get it to delete. This works. Thanks degsy!

I take that back...it didn't delete it. It just moved the file into the C:\!killbox folder. Anyone know of anything that will actually GET IT OFF?
