blinking Network cable unplugged and enabled
I had Dell over today. They replaced the mother board and I am having the same problem. Wireless works fine. Wire to NIC card says unplugged and enabled (blinking) I can't get it to work.
Dell then told me it may be software and asked me to reload XP... I did that too, a full install... took me all night to get this laptop D600 Latitude back to normal. I am still getting this blinking thing under network connections. Local area connection (status) blinkes Network cable unplugged and enabled. I am using a known good cable. I rebooted modem, computer and did all I can do. Have any ideas? Wireless works fine but daughter has a weak signal at college and needs direct connect. Thanks, Steve |

If you look in device manager for that network adapter is it listed? If it is listed does it have a ? or ! beside it?
