Question USB network help please

I've looked everywhere and can't get an answer. I know connecting two computers with a USB port allows file sharing, but can you share an internet connection through it? Answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If both computers have Nic installed, connect them via a crossover cable, and connect 1 to the internet. It is called connection sharing.lLook here:http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_ics/

Are you thinking of using something likethis to connect the PC over a USB connection? Using ethernet would be faster and about the same price (2 of these plus a length of cat5 would do it).

Which ever you decide on, you should be able to use ICS as minorgeek suggested.

Yeah, I have a Cat5 crossover cable. It has a spot to plug in on my XP, but not my ME, so it's pretty much useless. But thanks anyway.

Installing a network card is pretty simple and as i said they are pretty cheap. But, it is your choice.
