My son in law was given a Mac monitor. Old one or newer than 1999 I'm thinking. The problem seems to be that there is no power cord for it, nor does there seem to be a place to plug one in. It has two usb ports on the side, and it has the cable to connect to the computer. I looked all over this monitor and could find no power connector. Any one have an idea what this is? And it's clear on the backside, the screen is extremely flat. From what research I've done, this seems to be called a Studio monitor. So, now that I know what it is. Does anyone know how to connect it to power?

hmmm.. all monitors will have a power outlet on them. Unless it's a monitor that has been removed from an circa 2000 iMac. In which case it wouldn't have any way to stand up probably.

Buzz it looks like the one in the link below. I looked all over that monitor, back, front and underneath it; I could see no way to attach a power cord.

Are you sure it's not right here?

Nope. I found out my son in law and daughter looked this up on the net last night. This monitor came out in about 2003 and got its power from a GMac. The connection plugs into the computer and uses the computers power to work. :D Thanks for the help though, Buzz. Appreciate it. ;)
