Limited or No Connectivity

I have a problem with my internet that i have never had before. This computer is the one that i use for work, so it is a bit urgent that i fix this problem. Since i got a cable modem ive had issues, but none like this. I have 4 computers hooked into a Linksys Router. They are all hardwired. 3 computers i built and 1 is a dell. The dell is having the issue. I have windows XP professional instlled on it. The network i have connects all 4 computers. I can access files on all 3 other computers, exchange files on them and all. The fourth one is gone somehow. I asked my brother what happened, being that he is the chief user of the computer, but he said it just stopped working. The network connection has a Yellow ! on it. It says that there is limited or no connectivity. I dont understand this being that it is hardwired to the router. I replaced the wire, but nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

Look in device manager and make sure the network adapter is listed and working if its not working but is listed make note of any error codes you see. Also check for a firewall running that may be blocking traffic. Do you static address the computer or does it pull an ip from the routers dhcp?

How do i tell if it pulls from the router or no? The Firewall is up, but the lan connection is on the do not block list. I am going to check out the problem again, but teh ethernet card does show up in device manager, and it doesnt show any errors. Could it be the mobo battery, i know my time is up.
