Curiosity question, I have a wireless network in place. I also have a second WIRELESS router that is not being used. Is it possible to fire up the second router and use that as a bridge to extend the wifi signal ? I would like to improve coverage in the upper level of my house...

not unless you use an ethernet cable to connect the two routers....the wireless signal is outbound only on these not inbound....what you can get is a signal repeater or access point to do what you want.

Agreed a range expander or repeater would be best for that.
