When I go to type in a search in Yahoo, it shows previous searches I've done based on the letters I put in. For example:

If I want to search for "ball," after I type in the "b" it will show all of the previous searches I've done that being with "b." When I put in the next letter, it will narrow down the searches I've done that begin with those letters.

I want to erase the previous searches I've done, and keep it from doing this again.

I'm using IE6.

Thanks in advance!

to erase them....

goto tools
internet options
content
autocomplete
"clear forms"
OK

that's them erased

to stop it happening again just above "clear forms" uncheck the tick from "use autocomplete for"..... "forms"

ok.......ok..... and it should be done.

You can also delete invidual previous entries by double clicking on the field where you type them in to display the list of all previous entries, then using the arrow keys on the keyboard to select one at a time and then the Delete key to delete them one at a time.

Using the "Clear forms" option will clear all forms, including order forms that you may have previously filled out. If you find having that information retained, be aware all of it, too, will be deleted with the "Clear forms" feature.

Great, it worked perfectly. Thanks to both of you for your assistance :)
