trouble surfing

Hello there,

I have cable 1Mb connection from ntl UK. I have been surfing usually with no problems but today every third or fourth website just doesn't work.

Obviously this ones ok, and google is fine and my usual haunts are probably ok too. But I can't get through to www.dabs.com (http://www.dabs.com)
www.hitachishop.co.uk (http://www.hitachishop.co.uk)
www.ciao.co.uk (http://www.ciao.co.uk)

I have phoned a friend and they can get those sites no problem. I have experienced this before on my machine, and think I posted here on it too, I will look for my old post and provide a link and I will see if those old sites are still the same ones that won't connect.

I get no 404 error, I get no cookies error, but I do make use of the facility to block allways block/always allow certain cookies. However I can't beleive my small selection is causing this to happen. Some of these sites I have never been to before.

I'll go look for the other post and then I'll post back here.

Ok all those sites now work again. I deleted all tif and cookies, and that didn't work. Then my machine crashed I rebooted and that might have been the cure or it might have been my ISP, but they all work now.
