html icon???

Hello and thanks for hearing my issue...
I try to go to certain websites and some pictures do not load when I visit such places as msn.com.
I get the red square box with a small icon in the upper left hand corner that has a square, triangle and circle(red, blue and green?). I have left clicked on it to find out about it's properties and it says it is an html document and there is no security for it
What can I do to get my computer to access these web pages and pictures automatically??? Does it have something to do with my firewall, and if so, what???
Hate to sound ignorant but it's very bothersome!!!!!

Tweaker,
I still can't get many if not all html pics to load. I've tried going to certain sites and I can't because it won't load, or refresh...

I have windows xp home on my computer installed at the factory with no copy for me to re-install, however, I do have a few copies(original never opened) versions of xp professional...do I dare try to load xp pro and keep the home version that seems to be having soo many problems or just wipe it out and load pro and re-install all my drivers and files I've copied...
