Modem On Hold
Hi,
Does anyonw know how to switch off 'Modem on Hold', in an easy, non computer geek way? Many thanks!

This is part of the modem and only works if you have call waiting so disable call waiting. Right click on the my computor icon on your desktop/click on explore/double click control panel/look on the right side for modem/double click on the modem icon/click on properties/there you will see a box to disable call waiting put a check in it then pick whatever your phone company uses to disable it *70 normally. Then when you connect to the internet it should dial that first
