P.S. I would also perfer it to be free.

I too have had issues with the software that came with my tuner card, from DVICO. HTPCNews.com (http://www.htpcnews.com/main.php?id=hardware4#Software_Reviews) review several HTPC software, but I think most of those, if not all of them, are pay only. However, here's a free one they don't review (http://mediaportal.sourceforge.net/). If you decide to use it, let me know what it's like, I'd be interested in using it myself, but can't be bothered downloading it ;)

Lol thats the one I have been using. I wouldnt say its too great at all. Still needs alot of work. To set up the TV-GUide is very complex and after about an hour I finally got it going, only to find out it gave the wrong channel lineup. I think The TV portion is ok, but using it full screen creates a lag, that might be from my old graphics card (Gforce ti-4600) So in other words I'm gona keep looking!!! :dizzy:

Testing out sage TV now! Its not free though :(
