98 NDIS Error on bootup

Hi, I have a P4 2.4Ghz processor I just upgraded to on win 98 and get the following error on bootup: "Windows Protection Error while initializing device NDIS"

I was told I need to get a hotfix file named: 28-Nov-2001 11:05 4.10.0.2000 157,909 Ndis.vxd

If this will fix this problem does anyone have a link to where I can get this file? It's not freely available on the Microsoft site or perhaps I just can't find it.

Driver (http://www.network-drivers.com/drivers/62/62724.htm" target=_blank) You didn't say what os you had so make sure it's for yours.

Hi Idnew, my OS is Windows 98, I believe your reply referneced Win 98SE sorry if that was unclear in the original email I just abbrieviated the OS as Win 98. So if you know where this fix is Ndis.vxd fix is that would be great.

Oh sorry yes you did just say win 98. I didn't scroll to the bottom of the first link to see what OS it applied to. It's in reference to a network card.

In the meantime you can go here and see if MS will find it for you.

Here you go King I found 3 online but one site was in German and one was gone but this one is still up. Found a site that a lot of people were hunting this so somebody finally put it on their website.

It tells you how to install it and it fits on a floppy.
