monitor drive
I just changed my hard drive on my Laptop and reloaded 98. The display is only in the middle of my screen and not filling the whole area? Do I need a different monitor driver? I have a armada 7400 with screen size of aprox 111/2 by 81/2?

Did you check your settings and see how their set? Right click on the desktop/properties/settings and see what your screen size is set to

Howdy klebar,
Welcome to CTH. Try this. Double-click Control Panel Display->Settings->Compaq. Then use the Fn + T keys to expand the display.
