Hello,
My wife goes to this web page. http://www.calvarychapel.org/children/site/curriculum_n.htm
When she clicks on the lesson, she gets a full blank screen with a tiny box in the upper left hand corner. The box has a red x in it. When she clicks on the box, nothing happens. Is this on our end or theirs?
Thanks, John:)

Hi jmoline - the problem is at your end I'm afraid. I'm using Internet Explorer 6 and I can open and view the page without any problem. What browser are you using (and version)?

Hi again jmoline - if it only happens occasionally, its not going to be that easy to diagnose. Try the website again to make sure that it wasnt a problem on their server that has been corrected.

If you still cannot view the site, there are a few things that you can try. Go to the View Menu and select Encoding and then click on Auto-Select. Make sure that "Show Pictures" is enabled in Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. While you are in Internet Options, click on the Security tab and then click on Custom Level. Scroll down and make sure that your Java Permissions are set to Medium Safety and that Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets are both enabled.

If none of the above help, try repairing Internet Explorer. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and click on Add/Remove Programs. Select Internet Explorer 5.5 and tools and then click on the Add/Remove button. A new dialogue box will open. Select Repair Internet Explorer and then OK.

Post and let us know how you get on.

Hello again,
I did what you said, but I also reinstalled Acrobat Reader as this was a pdf on this page. Everything is fine now. Thanks for the help, John:D

You are welcome jmoline. It was only after I posted and checked that website again that I realised it was a PDF file. I suspect the reinstall of Acrobat Reader did the trick :D
