Hey ppl,

I'm new here - I really hope you can help me out.

I think someone has managed to phish my password (and stupidly I used the one password for all my emails, accounts including banking online !!).

They've been monitoring what I say on each email, they read and respond to all my emails, etc. I've cancelled my online banking, but I'm stressed out coz I dont know if it's safe enough for me to use my email.

Also my computer has been really slow and weird. I think I also have spyware of sorts on it. I have Adware SE on my machine but once it scans it gets stuck, it doesn't look like it's removing anything. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but no joy.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks a bunch :-)

Good to have you here at CTH. Best if you go Here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86677) and follow the instructions to post a HijackThis log at the CTH Cyber Safety forum. Someone there can assist you in determining if you have malware problems. Good luck.

For the email problem...just change your password. If you're using your ISP's email service, just call them and change the password. Web based mail...Hotmail, Gmail, etc....usually has a way to change the password.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delayed response.. been hectic!

Thanks for getting back to me so quick - i really appreciate it :-)

Jintan - I'll definitely post a Hi Jack This log, thanks :-)

Miz - I get agree with what you're saying, but see.. here's where it gets even more screwy.. I changed my password for both hotmail and gmail accounts and the next time I tried to sign in with my new password, it wouldn't let me - then on the off chance I tried the old password, and it worked! Weird or what? :-$
