Hi there! I am in need of a free software that can separate a song's instrumentals and vocals,

Thanks in advanced,

I doub't you'll find that.

Even professional products would have a hard time without the master copy of the track.

Many audio apps have a karaoke function, which attempts to mute out the vocals (you could use the opposite of this effect to get it to mute the instruments instead). Audacity (free) might, but I know dBpowerAMP (shareware) does. But like degsy said, I don't believe any software is smart enough to separate individual instruments and voices from a post-production version, and even if it could it would be very rough and not worth it.
