Recycle site
A couple of weeks ago, I joined up with this recycling organization. They are a worldwide thing, and you can just join your local town/area group that's nearest to you. I hate throwing unwanted stuff away that can still be used, or sticking it in the shed "until it comes in handy one day". So this was very good for me. You are also offered the stuff donated by other members.
Anyone else here tried this? http://freecycle.org/

I've been a member of 2 of the groups for about a year! Yes, I think it is an awesome way to find things and/or clean out your cupboards/closets!
One thing, be sure to follow the rules! Never offer money for the things you find, because they will kick you out quick! And, here's another similar site (but I think money is allowed here): Craigslist Happy shopping!
