If they're hearing things thru the hat then they obviously failed to follow the recommended construction instructions. Two layers may not be enough.

How thick is your aluminum foil? Find out using the ZPi Aluminum Foil Thickness Calculator... use this formula (with grams and centimeters):

((mass / 2.702) / (width * length)) * 10000 = thickness in microns

If your foil is less than 16 microns, increase the number of layers used in construction. Use duct tape (the really shiny kind) instead of scotch tape to increase effectiveness. (The duct tape lining also helps it stay on.) Mine works fine. ;)

I saw that last night on some RSS article, but I was afraid to post it.
Well, at this point I guess I'm open to suggestions. I don't know where I saw that article, but someone suggested a lead hat. I wouldn't try it, though. ;)

I don't know where I saw that article, but someone suggested a lead hat. I wouldn't try it, though.After I suggested it, I saw someone also mentioned on it in the /. post. They said something it also being a good workout for the neck muscles.

And zipulrich, my suggestion is to try and get your hands on the same stuff they make Stealth Bombers out of. Fight "them" with their own weapons :)
