Hi good people, I got a problem with my rig<>
AMD Duron 800MGHZ MB<>M830LR<>40x7200HDD<>128SDRAMM<>ME. I installed a flying program<> EIDOS Flight 2 unlimited. When I start one of the flights it does not load the program completly. It freezes at different stages between 60-90 %. I do a reboot and same thing.
I changed the acceleration settings on graphics to different settings but it dont help. The game runs great on my SONY.
As always, any and all help is much appreciated.

What's your specs for your graphics card?
Most likely your video adapter sucks.
The game may not support your card.

Hi Blacklotus, You sure came back quick. OK specs on the card
are; Envida e-TNT 2 m64<> 32MB AGP 4x/2x/1x. I also have a
game Jane's WW2 fighters that when playing it momentarily froze
but then it resumed. It may be the card but I thought it would be good for the games. There is a pewter show here in my area at
Ft Lauderdale on SAT-SUN and I always go to look. If you think this card is not good enuff I will get a better one. Any suggestions on a good one?? May be a card with higher rating.
I want the rig to run right.:grit:

A TNT is a great card, not the best but it works for its price tag. I doubt it's your 3D card...
A 32 mb card should run just about every single game fast and smooth (I have an 8mb and it can run nearly every game I have!)
Try updating your drivers. Try checking the game documentation, some games have conflicts with certain cards. Perhaps you need opengl or directx or something? I can't see any other solutions than that, you're comp sound state of the art to me...
Good luck.

Hi Black lotus, I went to the Nvidia website and downloaded the
driver, there was 2 new ones. I DL'ed the Detonater XP one and
all it did was change my screen resoloution.(I think I shoulda took the other one). I got Direct X 8.1 already. One of the games is not so demanding, Janes WW2 fighters, but in that game the dang thing froze and would not respond to anything but forced reboot. Do you think a reformatt would make a difference?
I know how to do it. I got all the software. I sure hope I can get
it perkalating right very soon.:(
Thanks for the answer. peruney
