Logical Analyst

A man is standing in his back garden when he sees a new next-door neighbour moving in. The neighbour greets him and walks over and they start talking over the fence.

"So what do you do", says the man.
"I'm a logical analyst", says the neighbour.
"What's that?"
"Well I gather data and use logic to make deductions?"
"Wha?"
So the neighbour comes up with an example. He looks into the man's garden and sees a kennel, and says,
"I see you have a kennel. That must mean you have a dog."
"Yeah", replies the man.
"And if you have a dog you probably have kids"
"Yeah"
"And if you have kids, you must have a wife."
"Yeah"
"And if you have a wife, you must be hetero-sexual"
"Right", said the man.
"So you see, I was able to tell from the fact that you have a kennel in your garden, that you were straight. That's what a logical analyst does."
"I see, very good", says the man.

Some time later, the man is with his friend in the pub, and he says, "A new fellah moved in next door to me, he's a logical analyst."
And the friend asks, "What's a logical analyst"
"Let me explain. Do you have a kennel in your garden?", said the man
"No", replied the friend.
"F*ckin' queer!"
