stream media with quicktime
i have a website and i wanted to know how to make the media i upload on it stream.. videos, music, etc.
http://www.area-77.com/cartoons.htm plus, how can i make the page accessable when someone <i>doesnt</i> type the .htm at the end?? i dont want them to go to the directory page.. thanks

You can just use Quicktime and cheese the fast start option and prepare it for streaming. You don't HAVE to have the streaming server, but it helps.
For the second question, talk to your server administrator, if you ARE the administrator. You may want to search Google for server settings based on the server you are running. Or check the manual for the server.

i figured out how to do it.. but its only working for me.. apparently other people only hear the sound streaming but not the video..
